T.Williams…

The ever impressive T.Williams is due to drop a new EP. ‘Can We’, due out on 19th March is said to be an eclectic affair, but a taster track emerged on t’interwebs entitled ‘Malfunction’. You can obviously guess its as on point as every T.Williams release, so the EP is definitely one to check on its release.

We posted on DREDi a little while ago now, introducing a mighty big bag of instrumentals he was simply just giving away. Well, the mans been back in touch regarding some more take home treats as well as a good explaination. So, without further ado…

Transfer .2 is a 6 track beat tape / E.P (free download) of instrumentals created between 2009 and 2011. It follows on from an earlier release in the year Transfer .1. The idea behind these “Transfers” is to showcase some of my most popular beats alongside some that were never fully released or used in the run up to a new full beat tape this summer.

Transfer .2 contains the track “Eastside” that was played by Benji B on his Radio 1 show Deviation and the instrumental version of “Hung up” which was used on the “IZSLICKULUS E.P” released last year with MC’s IZ-REAL and ICKY SLICK.

Something for the weekend. Red Bull Studios streams Pinch’s ‘Burn Out The Candle’ to support the artist and label owner following the release of the latest ‘Plates’ compilation on Tectonic.

‘Bristol producer Pinch joined us in the studio last year whilst working on acclaimed album ‘Scientist Launches Dupstep Into Outer Space’ with the dub legend himself. This new release ‘Burn Out the Candle’ marks the latest compilation in the Tectonic Recordings’ ‘Plates’ series, consisting of 13 exclusive tracks from recognised names including Roska, Addison Groove and Kevin McPhee. Since its beginnings in 2005, the label has become a landmark for dubstep, bass and progressive electronic music, and this newest album plays testament to its influence!’
