‘BrightLightsBigCity’ concludes Melbourne / Cape Town five-piece Clubfeet’s six-chapter video project on its most vibrant, celebratory note yet. Director Alex Goddard hand-painted the processed 8mm frame by frame in an extremely exhausting process that has paid off in spades.
It features subtle nods to each of the previous clips, including a welcome return from super babe Tiah Eckhardt (‘Count Your Lovers’). There are accompanying remixes by The Whip, Jetlag (feat. Andy Rourke of The Smiths), Mercury (Exploited) and All Dom Wrong (Plant Music).
