Two Syllables Vol Eight

“Festive greetings from FWHQ! We’re about to lock up the studio and shut the doors until 2013, but before our minds turn to copious amounts of food and drink, we thought it only polite to share a Christmas present with you all. This comes in the form of the eighth instalment in our Two Syllables Compilation series. This is a snapshot of what’s been going on at FW in 2012 and what’s coming in 2013.

There is the first track from Souleance’s ‘La Beat Tape’, remixes from Lopez, LV, Scrimshire & Marc Mac, a guaranteed club banger from Tall Black Guy, as well as some low-slung dub from Border Crossing and deep afrobeat from Ariya. Exclusive to this compilation we have a new track from kidkanevil, a stunning remix of Yosi Horikawa from Rough Fields and newcomer Future Wildstyle’s rolling remix of Frameworks.

We’re very excited to give you the first listen to two fantastic new acts to FW: Berlin-based producer Comfort Fit and London afrobeat stars The Fontanelles. We’ll introduce them fully next year, but for now we’ll let the music do the talking. So, head to our shop and get downloading. Please share this with as many people as possible – this is our way of thanking you for taking the time to check out our music in 2012. Enjoy!”
