Off the back of his success from remixing Shlohmo’s ‘Couch’ last year (on Error Broadcast) the label asked Soosh to write an album for them, developing his sound.

Building on his previous works of intimate and intricate textural ambiance, with his trademark low-swung Hip Hop beats, the album delves deeper into his sonic universe.

Sound design runs deep with elegant song structures, unique melodies and careful processing of his voice and others. Soosh’s younger sister, Carmel Khavari, contributes vocals that brim with longing and love, gracing the record with an allure that makes it somewhat indefinable for either genre or gender. The record balances lilts reminiscent of Nathan Fake, Holy Other and Nosaj Thing, with the mellow and lyrical pop silhouettes of Cocorosie.

To get you in the mood, check out a bonus track entitled ‘Touched’ as an example. The album is out on 25th February.
